A young woman is trending on Twitter and Facebook after she used both sites to criticize her father and best friend for dating.
Tia Carter said that her 40-year-old father, Phil Carter, is dating her closest friend Chloe Smith, 21, who is still married to her mother.
She went on to say that Chloe had been staying at her house and taking her younger sisters bowling with her father while she was unaware of anything.
She only found out after her father told her during a Facetime chat, she claimed.
Tia was devastated since Chloe was her best friend, and she had even asked her over to their house for Christmas last year when their mother was away, unaware of what was going on.
She then branded Chloe Smith a “slag” and tagged her in the tweet.
Tia’s post drew a retweet from Chloe, who chastised her for bringing a private situation to the public’s attention.
Tia then added that her father and Chloe had now “gone away together,” along with a screenshot of a text message from her father telling her of this.
Tia, on the other hand, did not stop at Twitter.
She also used Facebook to criticize her father, to which he reacted.
Anyone who had something to say to him was challenged to say it to his face.
He then inquired as to what he had wrong with dating a 21-year-old.
Other young ladies have also come forward to allege that Phil Carter was sending them friend requests as early as they were adolescents, with one as young as 17.
The issue has engulfed Twitter users, with some slamming Tia for making her family situation public.
Others complimented her for the laughs, saying they hadn’t had so much fun on Twitter in a long time.
Tia reminded those who were criticizing her for making it public that it was her account and she could post anything she wanted.
