
Nigerian afrobeat star, Wizkid, original name Ayodeji Balugon has set a new record on the Billboard world album charts.
According to Billboard Music ,the Grammy award winner’s album “Made In Lagos” has become the first Nigerian album to spend a whole year on chart.
On October 2020, Wizkid’s album hit the Billboard Chart, and spent the first four weeks as No1 spot, which is also the longest time a Nigerian artist have stay in No1, the other album being Burna Boy’s Twice as Tall only lasted on the top for one week.
