A football player named only as Afam died after collapsing during a game in Obosi, Anambra State.
The event occurred on Monday, February 21, during a match between Iwene Tansi FC and another local football club in Odum Layout, according to one Chukwuneke Ugochukwu Bishop.
According to reports, the player collapsed during the group match and was brought to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
