
The Nigerian government has declared that plans have been made to provide lodging in various Romanian universities for residents who left Ukraine as a result of the Russian invasion.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that the lodging will be provided for one month.
There are also plans in place for Nigerian students who want to continue their study in Russia.
The statement, titled “Public notice from the Embassy of Nigeria in Romania,” stated, “The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Bucharest, Romania wishes to notify Nigerian students fleeing the conflict in Ukraine that arrangements have been made with some Universities to provide hostel accommodation for Nigerians who wish to explore options and opportunities of furthering their education in Romania (for a period of one month.”
