Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps operatives have apprehended a 32-year-old motorcycle thief (NSCDC).
Ojo Matthew, the suspect, was detained in Ede, Osun State, for allegedly stealing a motorcycle.
Ojo, a native of Ede South Local Government Area, was arrested in the act of stealing the motorcycle by attentive residents, according to NSCDC Osun Commandant Emmanuel Ocheja.
When the suspect was apprehended, he admitted that his plan was not to steal the motorcycle. He admitted that he intended to drain the motorcycle’s petrol and use it on his own before his luck ran out.
The NSCDC Commandant, who ordered a full inquiry into the case, further stated that the command is ready and committed to protecting the lives and property of Osun State inhabitants.
