Michelle Abesin, alias DJ Michelle, a budding disc jockey, has spoken out for the first time about her near-death experience.
It will be noted that on Thursday, November 18, the 21-year-old went to a beach in Lagos with her sister and friends to have fun when she was swept away by water.
Her sister, Stella, as well as her friends and colleagues, began to grieve her death. However, almost 24 hours later, it was reported that she had been found alive and saved by a guy.
DJ Michelle thanked God for keeping her alive in a statement released late Saturday night, November 27, and specifically thanked her saviour.
The young disc jockey recalled being swept away by the river as the last thing she remembered during her near-death experience.
