Quick intervention as a man intents to commit suicide because he failed to secure a job in Lagos

A young man was prevented from committing suicide in Lagos state because he failed to secure a job.

The 22 years old man who is from Togo, identified as Muhammed Kabiru , intended to jump into a lagoon in Lagos state in order to commit suicide.

However, according to sahara reporters, a female officer who urged Mohammed not to commit suicide could be heard saying “You’re a man, you’re a man. Don’t jump. Your future is bright, don’t jump. Your future is very bright. Come, let me find work for you.”

In a statement, LCC company wrote;”Thanks to the quick intervention of LCC Patrol Officers, a young man was saved from committing suicide on Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge. He has been handed over to the Police.”

It was later confirmed that Mohammed wanted to commit suicide because he could not get a job.
