A video has gone viral showing the moment Olowo of Owo announced the arrest of individuals who attacked a Catholic church in Ondo.
Last Sunday’s attack on St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, according to the state government, killed over 20 people and injured over 50 others. It’s also been linked to terrorists from the ISWAP group.
On Thursday, June 9, Oluwo of Owo, Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, announced the detention of suspects linked to the shooting as residents of the village applauded.
