Mothers who pray for their children to be the head and not the tail, the first and not the last, have been singled out by Cossy Ojiakor.
While wishing mothers a Happy Mothers’ Day, the actress quoted a Bible text.
“”Do not consider his appearance, for I have rejected him,” the Lord declared to Samuel, she read.
The Lord is not interested in the things that people are interested in.
People are concerned with outer appearances, but the Lord is concerned with the heart.”
She went on to chastise women who want their children to be first and not last.
“What type of mother do you think you are?”
She enquired of such mothers.
She also inquired as to who they expect to be the last child.
Instead of praying for their children to be decent people, she recommended moms to pray for their children to be good people.
