May happiness cease from your lives – A woman criticizes her friends for failing to celebrate her birthday.

Professor Ovaborhene Idamoyibo of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has been kidnapped and his abductors have demanded N50 million in ransom for his release.   Gunmen kidnapped the Head of Music Department on his way to Abraka following a family meeting in Sapele on Saturday night, April 9. He was seized near the famed Eku crossroads in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.   The victim’s wife, Mrs Rosemary Idamoyibo, was approached on Tuesday by the kidnappers, who gave her until Friday, April 15, to pay the ransom.   The kidnappers allegedly pursued the lecturer, who attempted to flee when one of his Highlander Jeep’s back tyres was shot by the crooks.
