Didi Ekanem, a Nollywood actress, has encouraged young women to gain financial independence before marrying.
The entrepreneur, who delivered the advice on Thursday, April 14, via her Instagram story, also said that married ladies beg her for money on a daily basis.
She stated, “Marriage is not a passport to financial freedom.”
“Start a business, even if it’s just to sell okro and crayfish, and sell it well.
There is no firm that does not make a profit.
Some marriages necessitate joint financial efforts…so be sure you don’t fall short on your own.”
