Nigerian popular Nollywood actress, Damilola Adegbite has opened up the reason why her marriage of two years crashed.
The actress was married to a Ghanaian movie star, Chris Attoh in 2015 after they met on set award_winning soap opera “Tinsel”. They also had a child together before their marriage in 2014.
The actress narrated her failed marriage life in an interview with popular journalist, Chude Jideonwo where she said that she has come to a realization that love is not enough in a relationship.
According to Damilola Adegbite, love is one of the qualities needed to make a relationship work, but it’s not everything .
In September 2017, the former beautiful couple got divorced. The actress Damilola said she has no regret of divorcing her ex husband, Chris.
The single mother continue by saying that the only favourable regard she has for her ex husband, Chris Attoh is that he is the father of her child.
“Love is not enough. When you meet somebody and you want to spend your life with them, love is just one of the qualities that you need. But it is not everything“_ Damilola Adegbite said.
