Cameroonian singer popularly known as Libianca has been awarded with the Bet Viewer’s Choices Best International New Act Award.
Before the award was given to Libianca, she and Nigerian singer, Asake were nominated on the same category.
Unfortunately for Asake, he loses the award to Libianca who was awarded with it .
Fans reacted to this, some said Libianca got the award because her songs are main in English rather than Asake whose songs are mixed with English and his indigenous language, Yoruba.

English songs will always thrive more than indigenous songs cause majority of the world understands English and people can really connect with labianca song on different levels compared to asake songs,asake song is for we Nigerian only to just sing,his song really holds no deep meanings 700 10 years from now Labiance “People” song will still be green and most of asake songs will be forgotten or you’d hardly remember them”
