Malcolm Omirhobo, a Nigerian attorney, entered the Federal High Court in Lagos State today, June 27, while wearing traditional worshippers’ garb.
Omirhobo made headlines last week when he showed up to Supreme Court hearings attired similarly.
He claims that all he is doing is adhering to the Supreme Court’s decision from June 17 approving Nigerians’ right to practice their religion, which includes wearing hijabs in places of worship and schools.
Officials at the court tried to stop him from entering, but he resisted.
Below is a footage showing him entering the Federal High Court in Lagos.
