“I’ve never heard of an arrest in a mosque,” actress Chinonso Arubayi says of Okorocha’s son-in-law, Uche Nwosu’s, arrest.

Chinonso Arubayi, a Nollywood actress, has stated that she has never heard of anyone being arrested in a mosque.


The mother of one said this in response to the arrest of former Imo State governorship candidate Uche Nwosu.


Nwosu, the son-in-law of former Imo governor Rochas Okorocha, was taken away from a church service in his hometown of Eziama Obieri by security operatives.


“I’ve never heard of an arrest taking place in a mosque. Police shooting in a church during his mother’s post-burial service?” Nonso penned the piece.


“This is truly heartbreaking. What is the distinction between security personnel and unknown gunmen? What the hell is going on in this country? “She continued.
