In the parallel market, the naira falls to 555/dollar.

On Monday, Nov. 22, the Naira fell to 555 per dollar on the parallel market.

 

The Nigerian currency recently fell to 575 per dollar, after peaking at 530 per dollar last week.

 

However, as demand for dollars grows, it fell again on Monday, falling to 550 Naira per dollar in the parallel market.

 

The naira fell 0.16 percent to 415.07 per dollar at the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Investor & Exporter Window after reaching a new high of N445.75.

 

The CBN, on the other hand, kept the official rate at 411.63/dollar on its website.
