Kiki Mordi, a media personality, has made a broad generalization about “Igbo people being destructive to women.”
The media celebrity claimed this in response to the internet campaign by Governor-elect Charles Soludo to appoint a Swiss woman known as Nwanyiocha, who is married to an Anambra guy from Isuofia, as the state’s commissioner for tourism.
Kiki asserted that most white women married to Igbo men suffer, and that once Igbo men get passed their whiteness, their white spouses become misogynists. She responded by saying, “Igbo males are very destructive.”
The media personality further claimed that Igbo societies are essentially misogynistic, and that Igbo black women, who make up 99.9% of Igbo society, are restricted by long-standing norms.
