Friday Igwe, better known as Baba Fryo, was dragged online on November 21 after criticizing Davido for donating over $200 million to orphanages.
The singer expressed his displeasure in a video posted to his Instagram page, saying that when he came out to cry out for help a while back, none of his colleagues, including Davido, showed up to help him. Nigerians slammed him after he shared the video. They claimed he had a “entitlement mentality,” meaning he believed no one owed him anything.
BabaFryo said he was misunderstood in a video he posted on his Instagram page this afternoon. He stated that he has no personal animosity toward Davido and that he only expected the singer to assist him by at the very least sharing his predicament on social media when he made it public at the time.
He expressed his gratitude to Davido for all of his charitable efforts.
