His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma met with the families of the four traditional rulers who were slain during the agitation in the state today.
“To be honest, it is a terrible day for us,” the Governor said, “since it reminds us of the horrific episodes in Njaba LGA and other places where our Royal Fathers were slaughtered.”

The traditional Rulers were killed in the line of duty, according to the Governor, as they met to lead their villages forward when they were attacked.
While commiserating with the survivors, Governor Uzodimma told them that he would do everything in his power to bring those responsible for the crimes to justice.
