Kodak Black, an American rapper, was seen leaving a hospital where he received medical care after being shot a few days earlier.
Four individuals were shot early Saturday outside a restaurant in Los Angeles, including Kodak Black.
Though the cause of the dispute outside the club was not immediately known, an LAPD spokesman said the victims were shot as they exited the building.
Kodak Black’s attorney, Radford Cohen, told NBC News on Monday that the shooting began with a “unprovoked attack” on a person Kodak was with.
When the rapper and security arrived to help that guy, “an unidentified assailant fired several shots at them.”
Kodak was hit in the leg and is in stable condition, according to Cohen, with a complete recovery expected.
The rapper was seen leaving the hospital with a walker in a video obtained by TMZ days after the incident.
Kodak was surrounded by bodyguards as he walked into the rear of a black SUV after leaving Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon.
