A security guard has filed a lawsuit against Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, alleging that Kenneth ambushed and assaulted him backstage.
In a complaint, Thomas Weidenmuller, the head of security for one of Nicki’s concerts in Germany in March 2019, claimed that the rapper was enraged with a security employee for admitting a male fan onstage during the performance.
According to court records acquired by TMZ, Nicki screamed at the female security worker, calling her a “f**king bitch.”
Weidenmuller claims the female security guard was in tears after the incident, so he chose to speak with Nicki about it.
Nicki allegedly screamed at him as well, shouting, “Who do you think you are?” and throwing her shoe at him, according to the lawsuit.
He alleges he was summoned to Nicki’s room for another meeting, and when he arrived, Nicki verbally harassed him once more, while Kenneth allegedly appeared out of nowhere and hit him in the face, breaking his jaw.
Weidenmuller claims that he had to have eight surgeries to correct his jaw, that he now has five plates in his face, and that he will need another six operations to get better.
Kenneth and Nicki, whom he claims provoked the incident, are being sued for damages, including his astronomical medical bills.
