After his wife gave birth to quadruplets, a Nigerian man attempted to flee to Benin Republic.
According to a prenatal ultrasound, Cissé Abdullahi, 37, and his wife were expecting twins.
His wife, on the other hand, gave birth to four babies at the Badagry General Hospital on Monday, April 25.
Abdullahi, who is learning how to sell tyres as an apprentice, fled when he learned that his wife had given birth to quadruplets.
He attempted to cross the Seme border into Benin Republic, but was persuaded to return home by a friend who promised to help him financially with the children’s care.
Despite his friend’s assistance, Abdullahi claimed he still finds it difficult to care for his wife and children.
