On Monday, February 28, a guy just missed death by whiskers after being ambushed by unknown attackers.
According to a Twitter user who relayed the account, his friend was stopped at a “checkpoint” in Owerri, Imo state, and the guys opened fire on his car.
He said that his companion was able to avoid being murdered because he promptly put his car in reverse.
His post is as follows:
”A very close friend ran into a check point in Owerri, Imo State and had his car shot at, thankfully he was tuned on and suspicious enough to quickly engage the gear and backed up. That singular decision saved his life.. The South East is now a very dangerous place.”
