Mothers who pray for their children to be the head and not the tail, the first and not the last, have been singled out by Cossy Ojiakor.   While wishing mothers a Happy Mothers’ Day, the actress quoted a Bible text.   “”Do not consider his appearance, for I have rejected him,” the Lord declared to Samuel, she read.  The Lord is not interested in the things that people are interested in.  People are concerned with outer appearances, but the Lord is concerned with the heart.”   She went on to chastise women who want their children to be first and not last.   “What type of mother do you think you are?”  She enquired of such mothers.   She also inquired as to who they expect to be the last child. After being supposedly forced out of her home by her in-laws just one day after her husband’s funeral, a widow was photographed sleeping outside. The widow was allegedly kicked out on Saturday, March 26 after the burial on Friday, March 25. The widow is seen sleeping on the floor in a post uploaded online, wearing only a wrapper and a head warmer.  Her slippers can be seen next to her.   Her niece, who is from Nanka in Anambra state, resorted to Facebook to demand justice for the widow.  Despite the fact that the woman supposedly built the house with her money, her husband’s family allegedly threw her out and locked the door to prevent her from entering.

After their 0-0 draw with Ghana in the first leg of their World Cup playoff in Kumasi, John Dumelo took to Instagram to criticize Nigeria’s Super Eagles.   Dumelo had stated before the game that if the SuperEagles won, he would walk barefoot from Accra, Ghana, to Lagos, Nigeria.   “Dear great chickens, I was extremely convinced you wouldn’t win this game,” he wrote on Instagram shortly after the game concluded in a 0-0 draw.

Davido has responded to those who have mocked him for not being able to afford Drake’s $3 million chain.   Drake’s new Homer chain was just discovered to cost $3 million, and Davido took to Instagram Stories to claim that he was “drunk” when he declared he wanted the same chain.   Some Instagram users mocked Davido after seeing his message.  They told him he couldn’t possibly afford the chain.   Davido responded by saying he can purchase it, but he believes it’s a “stupid investment,” adding that while he isn’t as wealthy as Drake, he knows where he can get the money.   Take a look at his response below.    

After more than 20 years, renowned Calabar on-air personality Kanedrick Kingsley Agwu, also known as Fada Kane, has discovered that he is not the real father of his two children.   On Friday morning, March 25, the presenter with FAD93.1 FM Calabar took to social media to disclose court affidavits as well as information of the DNA test indicating that he is not the biological father of the children, as his ex-girlfriend, MarryAnn Efa, claimed.   “I, Kanedrick Kingsley Agwu popularly known as Fada Kane, am not the biological father of Anthonia Duke and Paul Duke as reported by one Miss MarryAnn Efa Duke,” he said. “I’ve attached copies of my DNA and a court affidavit to back up my assertions.  MaryAnn Efa and her family have the right to challenge the DNA results in court, and I, too, have the legal right to seek damages for such charges.” Meanwhile, the OAP confessed on March 18 that he was only 16 when his ex-girlfriend accused him of being the father of her child. “Wahala set as soon as my mother heard “I am pregnant for your son.”  I was only 16 at the time!  I was already an alleged father of two at the age of 17, and that was the start of this story.  Families and friends threw me out of the house, causing me anguish and embarrassment.  Keep an eye out for the next installment of the narrative “he penned  

Tega Dominic, a former Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, has disclosed that she divorced two years ago.   During the reality show, Tega received a lot of backlash for her claimed ‘romantic relationship’ with fellow housemate Boma, which aired in 2021.   On Friday, March 25, during a question-and-answer session with her admirers, the mother of one revealed that she is no longer married to her husband, Ajeboh Lawrence.   “No, I’m not, it’s been over since 2020, and all you know is that it was a bad move.  In fact, it has been over since 2020.  Now it’s your turn to get off my back.”  she explained.   Tega apologized to her husband in a video for having an affair with Boma while on the show.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Oyo State has refuted a video circulating on social media depicting a female corps member wearing a long white skirt instead of the usual white shorts at the Iseyin orientation camp.   A female corps member wearing white and khaki skirts is shown in photos and videos obtained by LIB at one of the NYSC orientation camps.   Mrs Olatoye Christy, Assistant Director, Press and Public Relations Unit, NYSC, Oyo State, claimed in a statement that no such corps member was present at the orientation camp, and that all corps members are following the scheme’s guidelines. “The NYSC Oyo State administration has been brought to a video that has gone viral on social media depicting an anonymous corps member supposedly observed in NYSC Oyo State camp wearing a long white skirt instead of the traditional white short,” she said. “It’s critical to clarify that the scene was never captured in the Oyo State camp.  In camp, corps members are required to wear a white T-shirt and white shorts as their uniform, and no corps member has ever refused to follow the NYSC dress code, whether for religious reasons or for any other reason.

Uzochukwukwalu, a Nigerian guy, has described his interaction with a honest motorbike rider he met last Tuesday.  He boarded the bike and when he arrived at his destination, he handed the rider a N1000 note and requested for his change, according to him.   The rider told him he didn’t have any change and inquired when he’d be finished with his meeting.  The rider proposed that he (the rider) take the N1000 and then return at the agreed-upon hour when the passenger was through with his appointment so that he could pick him up because he had his change with him.
